A two-year-old boy was rushed to hospital Tuesday morning after he was pulled from a backyard pond in Scarborough without a pulse.

Police received a call to an address on Carrying Place, near Neilson Rd. and Finch Ave. E. at 10:20 a.m.

The boy was revived but remains in serious condition, said Toronto police Const. Wendy Drummond.

No information has been released on why the boy was in the pond or who he was with at the time.
